You know that warm, fuzzy feeling when someone unexpectedly throws you a smile or says hello? Well, today's the day to say G'day!

Say Gโ€™day Day is an international movement to reconnect Australians, improve wellbeing, and prioritise social connection as a vital part of good health.

2025 findings from the World Health Organisation reveal that 1 in 6 people worldwide are affected by loneliness, contributing to over 871,000 deaths annually. The report calls for urgent action, recognising connection as a health priority, alongside physical and mental wellbeing.

Together, we can make Australia a more connected, healthier place โ€“ one Gโ€™day at a time ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ˜

๐ŸŒŸ ASIST Workshops with Sue Mahoney & Diana Bennet ๐ŸŒŸ

RFQ recently hosted our first Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshops for staff in Caboolture and Toowoomba, led by our skilled facilitators Sue Mahoney and Diana Bennet.

This important two-day training provided RFQ team members with the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge, confidence, and skills in su***de intervention. Through interactive learning and reflective discussions, participants explored how to recognise when someone may be at risk and how to provide life-saving support.

Weโ€™re proud to see our staff continuing to build their capacity to provide compassionate, informed, and effective support within our communities. ๐Ÿ’›

They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest we forget.
