Year 7 Wellbeing Day at ASC

We spent the day shooting hoops, and having a laugh, whether you were taking a close shot or going for the long-range points, it was all about giving things a go, backing yourself, and having fun along the way.

Just like in life, sometimes you miss, sometimes you score... but every shot counts.

Big thanks to everyone who jumped in and made it such a great day!💚

Not everything goes to plan...and that’s okay

Our float might not have come together the way we imagined, but what really stood out was the fun we had and the incredible support behind it. A huge thank you to Johnson & Kennedy Pty Ltd for providing the truck, Backtrack shed for helping build components, and all the amazing staff here at headspace Armidale who gave their time, energy, and creativity wherever possible along the way.

Sometimes you can put in a lot of work and still not get the outcome you hoped for but moments like this are a good reminder to look around at the people supporting you.

That’s where the real wins are. 💚

Anger shows up sometimes that’s just part of life

It doesn’t have to be a bad thing, either. When you give it a little space instead of letting it take over, it can actually point you toward what matters and push you to take action.

We’ve got 3 simple tips to help you work with it, not against it. Swipe through or hit the link in our bio to learn more.💚

Studying from home can be great! but it can also feel challenging sometimes keeping focused. If you’re trying to stay on track, here are a few simple things that might help. 💚

1. Figure out how you learn best
Everyone studies differently. You might prefer writing things down, watching videos, teaching someone else, or using flashcards. Try a few different approaches and stick with what actually works for you.

2. Give your brain regular breaks
Sitting at your desk for hours isn’t always the most productive. Stretch, go for a quick walk, do a short workout, or even spend a few minutes doing something creative. A small reset can really help your focus.

3. Build a routine that suits your day
Notice when you feel most focused and plan your study time around that. Add in regular breaks and keep things realistic. It may take a bit of experimenting before you find a routine that clicks.

4. Set up a space where you can concentrate
Your study spot doesn’t have to be perfect, just somewhere that helps you focus. Some people like quiet spaces, while others prefer a bit of background noise like a café or library.

5. Don’t study alone if you don’t have to
Connecting with others can make studying feel a lot easier. Join a study group, chat with classmates, or ask questions when you’re stuck. Support from others can keep you motivated.
