At Armidale Ultrasound, we are a small, family-owned practice — not part of a large corporate imaging group. We don’t have big private backers or extensive staffing to lean on, just a dedicated local team who care deeply about our patients and our community.

Like everyone, our staff deserve time to rest, be with family, and recharge over the holiday period. While there are other imaging options in the region, we will still be providing our services for Armidale and the surrounding region on 29, 30 and 31 December with reduced hours.

Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and continued support of a local business. We truly appreciate being part of this community 🤍

Our normal hours resume from the 5th of January !

Our move is immenent and with that comes our exciting NEW service announcement!

From January 2026 we will be offering BULKBILLED CT scans .
for all eligible patients.

This is only possible due to the incredible support we recieve from our amazing community, we cannot thank you enough for helping our little clinic grow!

To give back to our community we have decided to BULKBILL ALL ELIGIBLE CT SCANS, to continue our philosophy of keeping medical imaging care accessible, affordable and easy.

This move and renovation would not be possible without our amazing team, and their families, it has been all hands on deck for a few months now!

We love our new space and we hope you do to.

Did you know we provide liver elastography scans, also known as FibroScans? These can be performed at the same time as your normal abdomen ultrasound. A FibroScan is a non-invasive ultrasound that measures the stiffness of the liver to assess the degree of liver scarring (fibrosis) and the amount of fatty infiltration (steatosis). It helps doctors diagnose and monitor chronic liver conditions like fatty liver disease and viral hepatitis, guiding treatment decisions.

We provide many specialised ultrasounds at our clinic, making healthcare affordable, accessible and easy.
