It's our pleasure to welcome David Basquill as Commercial Sales Manager at HVG Facades.

With over 20 years in the construction industry, David brings a wealth of experience across specification, wholesale, retail, and distribution. His journey began on building sites at just 8 years old, making cups of tea and sweeping floors, and has grown into a career built on deep industry knowledge and strong leadership.

As Commercial Sales Manager, David is focused on growing sales within the commercial construction sector, developing new opportunities, and building strong relationships. He’s excited to work alongside an experienced sales team and take on the challenge of driving growth in a demanding market. Known as a true team player and fast learner, David’s proudest achievements come from creating dynamic, collaborative, high-performing teams that prioritise people and development.

Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, and following (or playing) most sports.

PROJECT COMPLETION | Melbourne Walk

We’re proud to see HVG Facades' MondoClad featured in the completion of Melbourne Walk, a project that thoughtfully restores and reimagines a significant heritage streetscape. Working alongside Hickory, Custom Clad and the design team at Buchan Studio, the vision was to retain the character of the buildings whilst bringing cohesion to the precinct through contemporary design.

MondoClad in a 3mm Natural Brushed finish was selected to complement the restored heritage frontage, sitting alongside aluminium cladding in Copper and Black Ace tones. The material palette draws directly from the surrounding historic context, reinterpreting traditional forms and details in a modern and durable façade solution.

At HVG, we value projects that respect heritage while embracing modern construction and materials. Melbourne Walk is a strong example of how considered façade solutions like MondoClad can help carry architectural history forward, creating places that feel authentic, enduring and connected to their urban context.
