Food safety tips

Food can spoil fast in the temperature danger zone (5°C–60°C), where bacteria grows quickly 🌡️

Remember hot food hot, cold food cold. Make sure to also always follow the 2-hour/4-hour rule - If perishable food has been in the temperature danger zone for 2 to 4 hours consume it immediately. After 4 hours throw it out.

Being kind is good for everyone 🌻
Doing something to benefit, help or care for someone else is called prosocial behaviour. For a young child it might look like sharing a toy 🧸. In an older child it might be helping with chores or raising money for a cause🎗️.

You can help encourage this by praising your child when they do something kind, highlighting the impacts of their actions and modelling the type of behaviour you'd like to see.

Happy birthday Enlighten Me.

It's our third birthday! 🥳

Our Enlighten Me medically supervised weight loss program launched on 7th November 2022, with an intention of helping everyday Australians understand the factors contributing to their weight, whilst equipping them with the skills to maintain a healthy sustainable weight in the long term. In that time, our team has grown to seven, with three GP's, a Nutritionist, Exercise Physiologist and two wonderful support staff, alongside our signature product, the Enlighten Me Shake.

The Enlighten Me Shake is our doctor-designed, high protein and FODMAP Friendly meal replacement shake, designed to help fill nutritional gaps and nourish the body. Launched in August 2024, our shake is now stocked nationally in pharmacies, medical centres, menopause clinics, dietitian clinics and gyms as well as through our online store at https://enlightenme.com.au
