Attention all - here are the range of holiday programs we are offering over the upcoming end of Term 1 school holidays this year!

Science - which is always a hit to get messy!

Easter is just around the corner (I know right - where is the time going?!?!)

Our annual Easter Egg count competition is back!! The person who guesses correctly/closest guess wins all of the chocolates!!! (Sorry parents!!!)

We have included a ruler for those not viewing in person and the sign beside the jar is A4 sized!

You can submit your guesses via one of these 3 options:

Just want to send you this! Jayden has come so far with his speech and expressive language that he received an award today. His teacher also said he is able to transition easier and more self aware of his emotions- he less likely to escalate now. This is the hard work and dedication of Tash and Tamika working with Jayden. From 1 March, Medicare has expanded funding for children and young people under 25 who need speech therapy.

Because this change literally starts today, many families - and even some GPs - may not have heard about it yet.

And for some children, this could make a very real difference.

If a child in your life is experiencing:

• Stuttering
• Ongoing difficulty being understood
• Persistent speech sound errors
• Childhood apraxia of speech or dysarthria
• Speech differences related to cleft lip and/or palate

There is now an expanded Medicare pathway that may help reduce the cost of assessment and therapy.

Until age 25, this includes:

✔️ Up to 8 assessment sessions
✔️ Up to 20 treatment sessions
✔️ $87.25 rebate per eligible session (March 2026)

That’s more sessions - and a higher rebate - than many families realise is available.

And we know how much this matters.

Communication shapes everything for a child.

When children can express their wants, needs and feelings clearly, they connect more easily. They make friends. They join in. They ask for help. They show what they know. They participate in learning with confidence.

When support is delayed because of cost, children don’t just “wait”. Sometimes they speak less. Hold back. Work harder than they should just to keep up. Confidence can quietly shrink.

Not everyone will qualify - but someone in your circle might.

If you’re a parent, or if you work with children and families, it may be worth checking this update and having a conversation with your GP.

For those who don’t know - we are an NDIS registered business. This means we undergo 18 month audits to ensure we have all the correct policies and procedures in place and do provide the correct supports to our clients. Everything is checked over - service agreements, therapy plans, invoicing.. you name it! Many businesses aren’t a registered provider, as it’s not mandatory currently. However, NDIS did say in the changes in October last year, that they will progress to it being mandatory again in the future.

We follow the NDIS guidelines and want the best for our clients.. sooooo nice to read the feedback from the auditor from our most recent audit held earlier this month ❤️

We have a bit of a question to ask about school holiday groups.
What other clinic-based groups would you like to see over our next school holidays? Craft, science and LEGO seem to always be a hit. We did bracelet making in January. Are there any ideas you think your child would thoroughly enjoy and want to participate in - let us know!
