⏱️ FAQ: How Long Does a Colonic Irrigation Take?

Here at A1 Colon Hydrotherapy, we ask clients to allow one full hour in clinic for a standard colonic session. This includes:
✨ 35–40 minutes on the table
✨ Time to get changed
✨ Bathroom time
✨ A private, calm space before and after your cleanse

We want you to feel supported, unhurried, and comfortable during the entire process 💛

If you are also booked in for your complimentary infrared sauna (included with first visits and with session packs), please allow an additional 30 minutes.

We do have longer colonic options and enemas available for clients who prefer extra time. However, the one-hour format is our general guideline for most appointments.

To help save you time in clinic, all medical and intake forms are emailed to you prior to your appointment, so your therapist can review everything before you arrive. This helps ensure your full hour is spent focusing on you 🌿✨

Please note: not all clinics will be open on every date listed. We have team members away during this time and will be running on limited availability across Aspley, Oxenford & Jindalee.

📌 On public holidays and Sundays, our admin phone will be unavailable, and no calls or messages will be able to be answered.
📌 If you need to book, reschedule, or cancel, please do so directly through our Fresha booking system, where you have full control of your appointments 24/7.

💩🤩Let’s answer some questions about colonics 💩🤩

🤷‍♀️ Will I need more then 1?
🌈 One colonic is definitely better then none. However we suggest to do a course of 3 sessions as close as you can together for best benefits and best clear out.

🤷‍♀️ Will I be alone ?
🌈 No, This is a closed method and the fully trained therapist will perform the colonic and will ensure you get the best care possible. You are covered up and laying on a massage table. We operate the machine and explain what is coming our during your session.

🤷‍♀️ Will it help with my bloating?
🌈 YES 🙌🏻 The average Australian is holding 7kg inside their colon. You can hold upto 20! So hydrating, softening and removing that built up of toxins, mucus and matter can shift that constant bloating feeling within your tummy.

🤷‍♀️ Will it hurt?
🌈 No, depending on the individual, some people may feel only minor discomfort. Only in the case of an impacted colon you may experience a slight discomfort. Some cramping may occur as the colon contracts to expel waste. Once the major impaction is removed, you will find the session pleasant and relaxing.
