What does it take to be a Rising Star in early learning? For Belinda, it’s passion, creativity, and a deep commitment to inclusion.

Belinda’s journey spans 22 years of Auslan teaching across industries, but her heart found its home at Uniting Early Learning Aspley. In just seven months, she’s transformed everyday routines into opportunities for connection - integrating Auslan into group reading, songs, and play.

Her favourite moment? Watching children sign along to “We Can Sing Rainbow” with joy and confidence.

Receiving this award was emotional:
“I’m absolutely thrilled and overwhelmed! This year has been the most incredible of my life. I feel so valued and lucky to work alongside such an amazing team.”

Belinda’s creativity shines through interactive storytelling, games, and visual aids that make Auslan accessible and fun.

Her mission is clear:
“To empower children, educators, families, and the community through Auslan education - and make a real impact during these formative years.”
