💛 March is Endometriosis Awareness Month! 💛

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue like the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing pain, fatigue, and heavy periods. It can affect anyone assigned female at birth — and early support makes a big difference.

Dr Bri, our Women’s Health Specialist, is here to help.
📞 To book an appointment, call 4235 7879.

With the approaching cyclone, the safety of our patients and staff is our number one priority.

At this stage, the clinic will remain open as usual. If weather conditions require any changes to appointments or opening hours, we will notify patients as soon as possible via Facebook, SMS or phone call where appropriate.

As conditions deteriorate, please prioritise your safety. If you are unsure about travelling to the clinic for your appointment, we encourage you to contact us to discuss options.

Please stay safe, follow local emergency advice, and take care of one another.

💛 March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛

You don’t have to have endometriosis to make a difference.

Educate yourself.
Understanding the condition and its symptoms could help someone you love finally feel heard, supported, and believed.

Endometriosis affects millions, yet many experience years of pain before being taken seriously.
Awareness starts with conversation — and conversation starts with you.

🌼 Share the conversation
🌼 Listen without judgement
🌼 Help break the stigma

Spread awareness this March and stand with those living with endometriosis.

💛 Together, we can turn awareness into understanding.

🌟 Welcome to the Team, Georgia! 🌟

We’re so excited to officially welcome Georgia, our new trainee, to the team! 🎉

Georgia joins us from Malanda State School as part of her School-Based Traineeship, while she studies for her Certificate in Business. 📚✨ We’re thrilled to support her as she gains real-world experience and builds valuable skills for her future career.

Taking on a traineeship while still at school shows incredible dedication and ambition — and we couldn’t be more proud to be part of her journey.

We are especially proud to support our young locals and help create opportunities right here in our community. 🌱💼

We can’t wait to see you grow, learn, and achieve great things, Georgia!

Please join us in giving her a warm welcome and wishing her every success! 💙

We’re thrilled to welcome our new receptionist to the team! With over 14 years of medical reception experience under her belt, she’s basically a front-desk superhero — keeping things running smoothly, calming the chaos, and making sure everyone feels looked after from the moment they walk in.

When she’s not expertly managing schedules and smiling through busy days, you’ll likely find her reading a book… or cross-stitching… or somehow cross-stitching while reading a book (a true multi-tasking talent). And yes — we did mention she loves reading books, right? Especially fantasy and action. If there are dragons, epic quests, or daring adventures involved, she’s already halfway through it.

She also enjoys hiking, so whether it’s climbing trails or tackling a busy Monday morning, she’s always up for the challenge. And when it comes to her family? She’d move mountains for them — though thankfully here she only has to move appointment slots.

We’re so excited to have her on the team and know you’ll love her just as much as we do!

Today we celebrate National Caregivers Day — observed on the third Friday of February 💙

This special day honors the incredible dedication of both professional caregivers and family members who provide personal care, medical support, and companionship to those who need it most.

At Atherton Health Hub, we proudly recognize and appreciate the compassion, strength, and commitment caregivers show every single day.

Caregiving is more than a role — it’s compassion in action. Whether it’s a simple gift, a heartfelt note, or offering respite support, let’s take a moment to say thank you.

To every caregiver: We see you. We value you. We appreciate you. 💐
