Big things are happening in WA healthcare, announced by Premier Roger Cook this morning, and we are thrilled to be part of it! 🚀
Expanding the scope of what pharmacists can do means faster, easier access to everyday healthcare for you and your family. That’s why we are incredibly proud to share that one of our very own pharmacists is currently undergoing the rigorous training required to become a prescribing pharmacist. 📚🔬
While this new service isn't available in-store just yet, we are working hard behind the scenes to bring this next level of care to our local community.
We will keep you updated right here as soon as our prescribing services officially launch. In the meantime, we are always here for your regular health and medication needs! 💙
Pharmacists already do an incredible job helping people in the community - but we know, with the right training and support, they can do even more.
That's why we've launched a program to enable trained pharmacists to diagnose and treat an extra 17 common health issues like ear infections, acne and asthma.
So far, 50 pharmacists are already in training and another 40 are getting started - with 34 of them in rural and regional WA.
By building their skills, we can ease pressure on our hospitals and GPs - and enhance access to safe care, closer to home.
