My Pandora Box — a 3D visual, soulful collage that serves as an intention setting practice and a daily visual reminder of my values and priorities.

This beautiful box was born at the Nature & Nurture Retreat🌿 I co-facilitated with .still.with.jill about a year ago last, and it continues to speak to me, ground me, and guide me long after it was created. 💫

I attended my first Matrescence workshop with Bree when I was pregnant, and it was deeply impactful. It gave me so much insight and intention as I stepped into my second chapter of motherhood.

Now, as a mama of two little ones, this kind of reflection feels non-negotiable — a vital part of caring for myself and filling my cup. 🪻This edition, focused on grounding and anchoring into myself as we move through 2026, feels especially perfect. Only a couple of weeks into the year, after so much movement and change within me and my family, I’m really looking forward to landing, reconnecting, and grounding together ✨

The last part of the year has been the perfect time to reconnect with myself and my role as a mother—enjoying the beach, family time, and simply being present.

Having my cousin visit from Peru has been such a gift—there’s nothing like having family close.
My baby Pacha is 6 months now, and I’ve been finding my rhythm through yoga, pilates, reading, and making sure I get the support I need to show up fully for my family and myself.

As I step back into this space, my intention is clear: to connect more deeply with our local community and create real-life connections. Here on the Central Coast, which I’m so grateful to call home, I’m excited to share that I have some beautiful workshops lined up for early 2025 at my private yoga space, The Nest in Avoca Beach ✨More details coming very soon!

Presence over perfection. 🌊✨

Lately I’ve been reflecting on my motherhood journey — how I react with my toddler now that I also have a baby.
The past few weeks, I’ve noticed myself losing patience a lot with my oldest. But when I pause and catch myself, I can apologize, acknowledge my humanness, and reconnect with him from a place of love and presence.

I’m so grateful to have a framework to observe and understand this transition, and so much gratitude for all the reflection from the recent Masterclass workshop with Bree at our yoga space, The Nest. We’ll be holding seasonal gatherings like this, continuing this work and connection, so much needed.

This journey reminds me daily — presence over perfection. I’m human, I make mistakes, I can say, “I’m sorry, please forgive me,” and I can forgive myself too.

Nothing is in my control except how I choose to perceive it.

Surrender over control. 🌊🌕

Again and again — as a human, as a woman, and even more so as a mother — life keeps reminding me how little is truly in my control.
 The more I fight, the more I meet anxiety, fear, and resistance. The more I soften, trust, and surrender… the more life flows. Synchronicities appear, clarity unfolds, and peace finds its way back in.

Under this powerful Full Moon🌝 , I’m reflecting on how much I’ve learned to trust and unlearned the need to control. It’s an ongoing dance — one wave, one breath, one surrender at a time.

✨ Today, I surrender my idea of control — of plans, timelines, and how things should be. I trust in the Universe, in Source, in God… that all is good, that all I need is coming my way, and that it will feel right and flow with ease.
It’s not always easy or graceful — but it’s always worth it. Especially as a mother. 🤍

Reflecting on my pregnancy and the birth of my baby, I can truly say that becoming a mother has been the most spiritual and profound experience of my life.

Death…

Life is so amazing and so special precisely because it eventually ends.

Each moment, each breath, each heartbeat reminds us of the ever-changing, ever-evolving nature of all things.

Last week, my grandfather died. He went to sleep and did not wake up.

My heart hurts. Not just for him, but because his passing has reopened the distance I feel from my family back in Peru—the ones I haven’t held in too long. His absence made that distance feel suddenly unbearable.

Yesterday, we made an offering to Pachamama for his life and for all the memories we’ve woven together. In honoring him this way, I felt closer to home, to the earth that holds us all, to the people I love across an ocean.

Do you have a toddler?

Then you know the early years of motherhood are as transformative as they are tender. We’re not just raising children — we’re growing too.

This shift has a name: matrescence — the profound transition of becoming a mother. It asks us: Who am I now? What parts of me have shifted, softened, or awakened?

My first son, Inti (my sunshine), is now 3. With another baby in my arms, I’m still rediscovering who I am and consciously leaning into what I’m becoming through motherhood.

👉🏾I’ve learned that when I don’t prioritise my mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing, I can’t show up fully — for myself or my children.

That’s why I’m so grateful that Bree from Soul FULL - accredited Life Coach, Matrescence Facilitator, Yoga Teacher, and mama — will be guiding us through this nurturing workshop. (Yes, I’ll be joining as a participant too!)

A New Chapter 🌙

Honouring the New Moon Solar Eclipse and the Equinox

With this New Moon, I close my fourth trimester — a sacred phase of integration with my new baby and with our family of four.✨

It’s become clear that, in this season, I want to be a full-time mum, learning from my children every day, only engaging in workshops, retreats and offerings that are 100% aligned with me. Family time in nature fills my soul more than anything else.🌿

I feel deeply blessed by my two sons and my husband. We’re on day 10 of Pacha’s first road trip, soaking up the simplest joys of life and feeling so immersed in the beauty of nature. 🙏🏽✨🌱

Each day I am redefining who I am becoming — as Mother, Wife, Guide, Teacher, and most of all, as a Woman walking with love, compassion, acceptance, and gratitude, deepening my self-realisation practices. 🌹

Pachamama Offering -
Gratitude Ceremony for Mother Earth

Rooted in the ancestral Peruvian Andean ceremony called Despacho, this is a creative, natural expression practice done in a ceremonial and mindful way with the intention to express deep reverence, respect, and gratitude to all Divine Energies that provide and sustain life.

I have been exploring this practice and adapting it to every occasion I get to share it—in festivals and with large groups of people. I love letting everyone connect with the space and the materials in their own way, with guidance to trust in what unfolds in sacred geometry shapes that contain natural elements and honor nature and the magic of its creations.

The time to awaken is now! 🌹

So excited about this workshop!

👉🏾If you’re a woman and over 18, this practice is for you! (Not suitable if currently pregnant)

The root cause of many issues is the disconnection we have from ourselves. Carrying a female body is so sacred and precious, but somehow along the way it’s often met with shame and seen as an inconvenience due to its cycles - which are actually the magical tools connecting us to our innate wisdom as women.

As part of my postpartum recovery, I’ve been steaming and it’s been amazing. I’m so looking forward to deepening my understanding and connecting with these sacred practices, guided by dear Astrid.

There’s no better time than now, before the end of the year, to come and get to know yourself by reconnecting with your womb.
