Today is Good Friday and it means so many things to so many people, but one thing that is important is the annual Good Friday Appeal. The hospital staff, doctors, nurses, volunteers all do an amazing job. So many lives changed and saved. We know in current times finances are limited, but if you can spare even $2 or sacrifice that one cup of coffee to donate, everyone dollar counts.
Stay safe and "Give that they may grow".

World Autism Day.
Supporting individuals with Autism is all about understanding their own needs and working out how we best support them.

World Autism Awareness Day is observed each year on April 2 to promote understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of people with autism. It highlights the importance of supporting individuals on the autism spectrum so they can lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. On this day, communities around the world come together to raise awareness, share stories, and encourage kindness and respect for neurodiversity. It also serves as a reminder that everyone deserves equal opportunities, regardless of how they think, learn, or communicate.

WORLD BIPOLAR DAY

World Bipolar Day, observed annually on March 30, is dedicated to raising awareness about bipolar disorder and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health conditions. The date was chosen to coincide with the birthday of artist Vincent van Gogh, who is widely believed to have experienced bipolar disorder. This day encourages open conversations, education, and support for those living with the condition, which is characterized by extreme mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic highs. Through global campaigns, events, and shared personal stories, World Bipolar Day aims to promote understanding, early diagnosis, and effective treatment, while also reminding individuals that they are not alone in their journey.

14th -20th of March is Neurodiversity Week it's a time dedicated to celebrating the different ways people think, learn, and experience the world. It raises awareness about neurological differences such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other cognitive variations, highlighting that these differences are natural parts of human diversity. During the week, schools, workplaces, and communities encourage understanding, inclusion, and support for neurodivergent individuals.
