Dr Stuart Prosser spent the week alongside Prof Donna Geddes in Lisbon, Portugal, as invited speakers at Medela’s European Breastfeeding & Lactation Symposium ✨

Stuart shared the important work we do at Western Obstetrics using a lactation screening tool that helps us identify women who may need a little extra support with breastfeeding, before challenges arise.

This screening happens during pregnancy and again in the early days after birth, helping us provide personalised, proactive care for every mum and baby.

🌍✈️ Last week Dr Stuart Prosser and Prof Donna Geddes travelled to Chicago to present at Medela’s 2025 Breastfeeding & Lactation Symposium.

They shared our Western Obstetrics lactation screening and support model, which helps identify women who may face challenges with breastfeeding and ensures they receive the education and support needed for success. 💛🤱

We’re so proud to see our work recognised on the world stage, and it really does show that we deliver world-class care, right here at home. 👏✨
