11 YEAR OLD NETBALLER & KNEE PAIN!

We saw a young 11 year old patient yesterday and she has emailed the following positive feedback to her practitioner after her 1st treatment. "I have had no aches or pains in my knees today. Last night I had the best sleep I have had in a long time. Normally when I roll my shoulders I can feel them grinding. Today they are a little stiff but they do not grind".

Amy was referred into Perth Integrated Health by her grandmother who is a client of ours. She has been reporting knee pain and her mother is keen to get this resolved as Amy is hoping to play state level netball this year. Mum is planning ahead and wants her daughter to be injury free this season. In addition to her knee condition our assessments also found Amy had restrictions in her mid back which has affected her sleeping patterns, thus often waking up tired - so we were able to treat this too! Did you know that we have been treating children for decades? We love helping the neuromuscular system of children as they respond very quickly and the treatment afforded at a young age, sets their structure up for the future. How often do we as adults, wish our condition had been identifed, and fixed earlier to avoid present, chronic issues?

⭐ Busy working our rehabilitation magic for clients this week ⭐

These are some of the interesting conditions we have seen:

● Rotated hips due to sleeping on the stomach and in addition there was a fair amount of stress and driving to support the family with a busy harvest season
● Clicking jaw
● Jaw pain from a boxing hit and neck and shoulder restrictions
● Nerve pain in the neck after an accident carrying a couch
● Low back and hip pain after an amazing kayaking session
● Monthly maintenance clients in for the tune up of their body to prevent injuries
● Ankle sprain from soccer
● Groin pain from footy

The Perth Integrated Health Centre in Balcatta and Perth Integrated Health - Southern Clinic in Applecross are currently closed till the 2nd Jan 2026.

At the present our staff are all on leave for the much needed festive break as they spend time with family and friends and therefore our Phones and Emails are not monitored.

Looking forward to seeing everyone back from the 2nd Jan 2026 onwards.

Note that our PIH Communities center in Midland opens officially on the 5th Jan 2026.
