Today is Aged Care Employee Day!
Over the past 5 years we have trained and supported over 2500 wonderful aged care employees to bring joy and connection into the lives of our older Australians. Every month we profile a Resparker of the Month in our community newsletter. We are incredibly honoured that Harrington, our Founder and CEO, has been recognised as a global fellow in the Cartier Women's Initiative. The Cartier Women's Initiative is an annual international entrepreneurship program that aims to drive change by empowering women impact entrepreneurs.

We are so grateful to our wonderful clients, partners, advisors, and clinical specialists who have supported us on this journey to make an incredibly positive impact on older Australians living with dementia and those who love and care for them.

This award honours the amazing results we have achieved:

78% improvement in the mood of residents in aged care
80% of staff telling us it makes their job easier
12% reduction in the use of psychotropics, meaning we are a drug-free alternative to addressing behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia.

Congratulations to all of the other incredible fellows, true changemakers and impact creators!

This post says it all about the power of music 🎵!! This what resparke brings residents 24/7 jn an easy to use and personalised platform !

Rachel’s mother, Helen, lives with dementia and has been withdrawn for some time now.

They hadn’t seen a smile or speak much lately and felt they may never again.

That changed when this photo was taken. Helen was listening to her idol Elvis and a glimpse of her joyful-self returned as she sang and smiled whilst dancing along to the music.

The photo shows Helen in the midst of her enjoyment, and Rachel with overwhelming tears of happiness to be able to share the connection with her Mum, if only for a short time.

Since 2018 we have supported hundreds of aged care homes across Australia. Independent research has shown that our technology has proven positive outcomes for both residents and staff.

As our products and business have evolved, it's time to reimage our brand to better reflect the impact our technology offers.

Today we are excited to announce that we have changed our name.

Introducing Resparke!

Resparke is inspired by the spark we witness in a resident's eye when they first experience our technology's meaningful person-centred experiences.

Resparke is passionate about sparking better connections in aged care.

We look forward to sparking new conversations and staying connected with you.
