Last night's dance was magical.
At once uplifting & grounding, the dance always makes us feel incredible.
It's so good to be back in that space, honouring so much goodness and connecting to self and each other.
Grateful for the beautiful women who came and shared themsleves openly. ♡

It's a hot, slow day today. I'm creating a playlist reflective of that~ sensual and slow with hints of juicy ripe fruit! 🍑

FREEFLOW Dance is for you to connect inwards, and also to connect to others. Part women's circle, part meditation, part ecstatic dance...as we go through the evening the sharing deepens our inner and outer world. Connections are formed and strengthened. It's collective energy in its most potent form.

If you feel like life is speeding up and you're just too damn busy,

You're not alone!

Press pause on your week and take a couple of hours for yourself to unwind.. relax.. shake it out...move!

In conscious dance we find the moments within the music...
...the breath before the beat
...the release after the rest.then comes the climax and we can feel that flood of energy pulse through our bodies as we Move!
A rush of endorphins that make us feel fantastic... and sometimes can let out everything we been holding onto.

We hold a lot.. come and let loose on the dancefloor and see how that changes your perspective.

This month's energy feels different.
I've been sick, on and off for a month.. feeling run down and heavy.. then well again for a few days. It feels like the weight of the world is taking its toll on the most sensitive of us.

So GROUND may feel counterintuitive when we need to feel lighter. But I don't see grounding as heavy. Rooted, yes. But earthy, in connection with nature, de-stressed and realigned. That's how grounded energy feels for me.

When I spend time in the forest or standing out in the sun with my feet on earth.. that's when I'm at my most peaceful. And that's how I want to feel.. peaceful and not hurried. Aligned. Fresh and clear. Healthy and in flow with the earth and her cycles.

Come and ground yourself tomorrow evening. However that looks for you. There will be beautiful cacao and herbal teas to set us into a space for the dance. Softness and flow... all info at the link below. ✨️

Solstice ✨️

The line between light and dark.
Where midwinter curls around us, and we crave cosiness and warmth.
Yet equally, we are moving towards the coming of light.

Balance in nature echoes the balance we seek in our daily lives and inner worlds...Of light and shadow, in and out, rest and motion.

Embodying this balance is a delicate dance.
Through movement guided by carefully selected music, we explore our inner and outer worlds;
chaos and calm, repetition and discovery, pause and play.

Holistic, somatic, purposeful embodiment.
