*** Looking for a Casual Pharmacy Assistant to join us at Balingup Pharmacy ***
Retail experience strongly preferred. Pharmacy experience advantageous but not essential.
Work days consist of 1 Saturday morning (8:30am-1pm) and 3 weekdays (8:30am-5pm) each fortnight - around 15 hours per week. Occasional extra days will be available. We are closed public holidays. Above award pay, with rate depending on skills and experience.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be working closely with the Pharmacist. Your duties will include:
- greeting customers and patients, assisting with their enquiries (supported by the Pharmacist) and processing purchases through point of sale
- supporting operational activities within the Pharmacy as required, including stock management and maintaining a clean, tidy and professional appearance throughout the store
Depending on your skills and experience, other duties may include:
- managing beauty products
- promotion and marketing
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will have:
- a friendly and professional attitude
- excellent customer service
- strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- familiarity with desktop computers and email
- willingness to learn new skills, especially in the pharmacy and health domain
- multi-tasking capability (e.g. engage customers, answer phone calls, assist pharmacist, shop duties)
Ideally you will be available to start early to mid-October, however a later start date may be considered.
