A calming evening sets the tone for quality sleep and recovery, which is so important to your wellbeing! I know this is often easier said than done, with busy schedules, work demands, kids, all the things! But here are a few things you can try:
🌙 Turn off bright lights an hour before bed
🌙 Stretch your neck, shoulders, and back gently - just a few minutes can help you wind down!
🌙 Opt for a calming tea like chamomile or peppermint, rather than something stimulating with caffeine
🌙 Use a few drops of lavender oil on your wrists or pillow, or even breathe it in for a few deep breathes
🌙 Turn your phone on do not disturb to avoid unneeded distractions

Tension doesn’t only come from physical strain; it builds up from stress, emotion, and even how we breathe. Try this gentle reset to help release tension in your body:
✨ Focus on slow, deep breathing: exhale longer than you inhale. A quick breathing exercise is to inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 6 counts. Repeat this 4 times (or more if you can)!
✨ Roll your shoulders and stretch your neck for 30 seconds.
✨ Place a warm heat pack over tight areas to soften muscles.
