Susan Crocker is an experienced and passionate Speech Pathologist providing services for pre-school, school aged children and adolescents dedicated to providing the highest standard of assessment and treatment for a broad range of communication and learning difficulties. We help children and adolescents develop their:
auditory processing; listening & understanding; organisation; social communication; speech; expression; vocabulary; fluency after stuttering; phonological awareness; learning, and confidence. The parents’ knowledge of their child, is combined with thorough assessment to identify any underlying weaknesses in the skills needed for successful communication. Therapy is tailored to the child’s individual needs and parents are supported through this therapy. Therapy is focused around the interests of the child and adolescents, whether it be through play, topic interests, computers or the school curriculum. Working closely with other professionals involved with the child helps to develop a collaborative therapy program.

The winners of the 2025 Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards were announced on October 29, 2025, with winning books in categories including Birth to 3 Years (Where is Cheeky Monster?), 3–5 Years (Don’t Worry, Felix), 5–8 Years (Willow’s Gumboots), 8–10 Years (Stage Stars: Musical Theatre Club – The Audition), an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Book Award (Country), and a Decodable Book Series Award (PLD Decodable Reading Books – Initial Code). The awards celebrate Australian books that support children’s language and literacy.
