Condoms have been supporting sexual health for centuries - helping prevent pregnancy and STIs long before modern medicine as we know it today.

At Ballarat Community Health, we believe everyone should have access to sexual health information and resources that support safe, respectful and enjoyable experiences. Free condoms are available at all of our B*H sites.

Delacombe Primary School students are leading the way in tackling va**ng – and we’re proud to have supported them.

As part of the Central Highlands Va**ng Prevention Project, Ballarat Community Health delivered Quit’s Seeing Through the Haze program at Delacombe Primary School, equipping Grade 5 and 6 students with the facts about va**ng and the confidence to take action.

Health Promotion Officer Alexandra Bell said it was inspiring to see students turn their learning into leadership.

“Arming young people with the facts about va**ng and empowering them to take action is a powerful way to prevent harm and protect their health and future.”

With the grant funding, students created their own anti-va**ng initiatives, including message keyrings and a student podcast, which were recently launched at a school assembly.

This project was funded by VicHealth and supported by Quit Victoria and the Australian Drug Foundation, with strong local partnerships helping bring it to life.

Congratulations to the students and staff at Delacombe PS for stepping up to create change in their school community.

From quick sandwiches and leftovers to low-cost snack options - it isn’t about perfection. It’s about helping children feel confident, supported and comfortable at mealtimes.

For families looking for practical, budget-friendly ideas, Lunchbox Week offers simple recipes such as pikelets, basic muffins, crispy chickpeas, pita crisps and sandwich sushi.

We invite you to take part in the CycLink Co‑Design Study: From Principles to Program. This project brings together young people with disability, their families, and community partners to help design a new, inclusive cycling program.

What is CycLink?
CycLink is a cycling program being created with young people with disability and their families. Our goal is to make cycling fun, flexible, and accessible for everyone—no matter what kind of bike you use or where you live.

What We’re Working on Together:
We want to work with you to
➡️ Create a community‑based cycling program led by trained coaches
➡️ Develop easy‑to‑use online cycling resources for young people with disability and their families.

How You Can Get Involved:
We are looking for young people with disability and their families to join online group workshops.

In these workshops, you can:
➡️ Share your ideas and experiences
➡️ Help us design how CycLink should look and work
➡️ Tell us what helps make cycling easier, more enjoyable, and more inclusive
