Yesterday we spent some time dropping flyers around Castlemaine to spread the word about our upcoming fundraiser. NEW DATE Harcourt Valley winery - Hope for Phoebe Fundraiser

As we walked around town, we saw many flyers, fundraisers and events, so many connected to supporting families affected by the recent fires. It really shows how much this community rallies around one another.

Even with so much already happening, people were still so willing to support our cause too. Generosity and kindness speaks volumes. Some had already read about Phoebe and wanted to donate 🥹

Regional communities truly are something special. you don’t always get that warmth in bigger places. It's definitely something I've missed since I left Castlemaine a very long time ago

A very special thank you to Harcourt Valley Winery for their amazing generosity in donating and labelling over 250 bottles of rosé.
They are available at the winery, through me, or at the family fun day

Just two weeks to go — we can’t wait to bring everyone together 💛

💛 Calling on our village – Volunteers needed 💛
After having to change the date of our Family Day Fundraiser due to the fires, we’ve unfortunately lost a few of our volunteers who are no longer available.
So putting a call out to see if anyone else might be able to help.

Help needed with:
🎟️ Helping at main table selling Raffle tickets & payments
🏰 Jumping castle supervision
🍭 Fairy floss machine opeation- ibe been told it's easy

Even 1–2 hours helps, the dream would be to have enough people so no one has to work all day.
Please reach out of you could help 🩷
Thankful as always 🙏

One month until this little girly turns 3 🥹

What she has been through in just three short years is so incredibly big, you’d never believe it if I told you everything.
It’s been three years of love and joy, but also deep grief and constant fear, especially as time goes on I know her condition progresses.

She’s only three, and her biggest fight is still ahead of her. It's terrifying and she has absolutely no idea what’s going on 🥺

Over the past six months, fundraising has helped keep my mind busy, a distraction from the worry about what lies ahead.
When my mind finally quiets, reality sinks back in. That familiar pit in my stomach returns.

I wish more than anything that her path was easier, But I know she has so many people cheering her on 🙏
She may be small, but she is so incredibly strong and she definitely wants to be here.🩷

🩷Some bellies have two buttons 🩷

My little cutie has been a tubie since she was one day old.

Phoebe's oesophagus defect meant she couldn’t swallow anything until she was three and a half months old.
After her surgery to connect her oesophagus to her stomach, she had major complications and because of this she was almost 1 year old before she was even able to try food or milk orally.

Swallowing is a skill that develops with practice, and when eating isn’t safe early on, it takes time and support to learn later, food aversions can develop and for Phoebe it's been a bit of a struggle.
But one thing that hasn’t been a struggle is feeding her through her tube.
While it's a lot of work, this tube has been a literal lifeline for my girl. It’s helped her grow, heal, gain strength, and be here! Because without it, she wouldn’t be.

For us, this tube isn’t something negative. This tube = life and I’m so grateful for it.

For Feeding Tube Awareness Week, I hope you enjoy my first very amateur “day in the life” of tube feeding Phoebe 😅 💜
