Only a month to go until the 24th Annual Aboriginal Elders Olympics 🖤💛❤️
We’re really looking forward to coming together on Country to celebrate, honour and support our Elders.
A big thank you and respect to all our partners walking alongside our Elders to help make this special day possible.
Let’s get ready to come together, show our support and cheer them on.

World Cancer Day is a time to come together as mob — to support, to yarn, and to walk alongside one another.
Every journey is different, but no one should walk it alone. Bullinah is here for our community, always.

Brothers, it’s time to clear the head and move the body. Today at 1:00 PM, the CaT Men’s Program is hitting the Shaws Bay stairs. Exercise is one of the strongest tools we have for our Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB); it’s not just about physical strength, but about burning off stress, regulating mood, and finding a clear headspace. When we show up and sweat together, we’re making a choice to break old cycles and build a stronger foundation for ourselves and our families.
We know that isolation can be heavy, but connection is medicine. If you’ve been feeling stuck or walking a dark path lately, don't carry that load alone—showing up for the group is a powerful way to look out for your spirit and your mates. Whether you’re feeling fit or just need a yarn, come find your rhythm with the boys. Small steps lead to big shifts, and the best way to stay on track is to do it together.

Can offer transport if needed

Jingela everyone,

We’ve got some deadly new wellbeing programs kicking off in 2026, and we want our mob to hear about it. Please share with your networks and anyone who might benefit.

Strong Body. Strong Mind. Strong Culture.

This year we’re focusing on three pillars of wellbeing:

Strong Body – walking, exercise, healthy choices

Strong Mind – yarning, coping skills, wellbeing support

Strong Culture – language, art, on‑Country, storytelling

Programs start Monday 5 January 2026.

These spaces are about strengthening identity as Indigenous men, finding our place in community, and supporting each other through life’s challenges.

If you’ve been feeling alone, disconnected, or carrying heavy thoughts, you’re welcome here. Come join activities that support your body, mind and culture in a safe, inclusive environment.

Who can join?

Indigenous men aged 16+

Elders encouraged to attend and share knowledge

Men with disabilities welcome

Transport available if arranged beforehand

Cost: Free

The program offers Cert II in Civil Construction, delivered through Ballina TAFE, along with on-the-job experience through local civil teams. It is designed to provide real, practical pathways into entry-level roles or apprenticeships in civil construction, with strong wrap-around supports in place - including cultural support for First Nations women.

The program runs over 6 months, 1 day per week, making it accessible for women who may have other commitments. Labour hire and volunteering opportunities are also available to help participants gain experience and transition into employment.
