We will have some staff at Terry White Chemmart Ballina this morning to assist patients who were unable to collect medications Friday and Saturday.

We will be open Monday 8:30am as normal.

We will review and update whether we will open tomorrow (Sunday morning) for patients who are in need of medications.

We are looking for after school Junior Pharmacy Assistants to assist our team with end of day jobs and help out in-store.

Shifts will be 3:30/3:45pm - 5:30pm.

Bushfires and asthma first aid

The evidence of monthly dispensing being more cost effective and medicine safe has been around for a very long time with evidence back to the 1990s and more recently (link below). Not only will the proposed government budget changes reduce pharmacy staff, increase wait times and increase waste in Community Pharmacy. It will hurt communities with less pharmacist contact time and many pharmacies having to close. Medicine advice is a non negotiable right to every individual patient.

Tell Anthony Albanese and your local MP how important your community pharmacy is to you to make sure they are here for you in the future.

As it is not safe to access the pharmacy for patients or staff we are sending team members who have arrived safely to Priceline in Ballina Central to assist if any customers have urgent issues. They will be able to contact us if needed. Stay safe!
