Año Viejo ✨
A Colombian New Years tradition where you gather, eat, and stuff a paper doll with written letters of what you want to let go from the year, and what you want to welcome in for the new year.
To be able to write my in's and out's among friends IRL, share our feelings with eachother and literally burn it, felt really special.
I'm looking forward to creating a year with more peace, less demand and to make sure I continue to pour love into myself and my village as much as I do my business.
One of my intentions is to really honour my nervous system when it comes to device use - more than ever I'm hearing everyone collectively feel overwhelmed with being so online - the amount of messages we receive, the stimulus, the urgency, the demand. It's ok to take breaks, it's ok to not reply instantly.
This can feel hard to achieve as a business owner in this day and age, but im going to continue showing up on social media as my authentic self (always) and continue to contribute in a positive, calming way for my beautiful community who are tuning in. This is one reason I've been loving hosting workshops as I know how calm everyone feels afterwards.
I'm also feeling more of a calling than ever to lean into my Lebanese heritage and maybe try belly dancing??!! (TBC)
If you've gotten this far, thank you for being apart of this community!
Feliz año neuvo / HNY ✨😍
