Sadhguru’s quote, “that which knows how to bend will not break,” encapsulates a profound wisdom that extends beyond the physical realm into the realms of life, resilience, and personal growth.

In the physical practice of yoga, the significance of bending extends beyond the literal act of contorting the body. Yoga teaches us that flexibility is not merely about stretching muscles and joints; it is a metaphor for cultivating an open and adaptive mindset. When we embrace the idea of bending in yoga, we learn the art of surrender and release. We let go of rigidity and resistance, allowing the body to move with fluidity and grace.

This principle of bending without breaking mirrors the challenges we encounter in our daily lives. Life is unpredictable, and hardships are inevitable. Those who approach life with a rigid mindset, unable or unwilling to adapt, may find themselves overwhelmed and broken by the storms of change. On the other hand, individuals who cultivate flexibility in their attitudes, thoughts, and actions are better equipped to navigate the ebb and flow of life’s challenges.

Yoga’s impact is not confined to the physical realm; it extends to the mind and spirit. As the body becomes more flexible, so does the mind. The meditative aspects of yoga encourage a mental and emotional flexibility that helps individuals navigate the ups and downs of life.

Through mindful breathing and intentional movement, yoga becomes a practice of letting go – letting go of tension, letting go of expectations, and ultimately letting go of the fear of breaking.

✨ A Sound Bath is a way to switch off from the stresses of the outside world, go inward and experience deep rest and relaxation without needing to do anything.

✨You just lie down, close your eyes and allow the sound of singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums and voice wash over you and allow you to tap into the Parasympathetic Nervous System, responsible for deep rest, and healing.

✨Come with an open mind and heart, and zero expectations. Every sound bath experience is different.

❤️ This Valentine’s Day, step into a different kind of date night. ❤️

This intimate evening workshop invites couples to explore polarity — the subtle, often unspoken dance between giving and receiving, direction and responsiveness, clarity and softening — and how these dynamics shape attraction, desire, and connection over time.

Through gently guided, experiential exercises, you’ll be invited to slow down and explore:

❤️ How energy naturally moves between you

❤️ Where one partner offering clarity allows the other to relax into response

❤️ How receiving, rather than doing or managing, can deepen intimacy

❤️ How playful polarity supports both emotional closeness and erotic aliveness

This workshop is not about any fixed roles or gendered expectations, but about discovering what brings balance, charge, and nourishment for your relationship, in a way that feels safe, curious, authentic and connective.

Designed as a warm, intimate, and playful Valentine’s experience, this workshop offers a shared moment to reconnect emotionally, energetically, and relationally.

Bookings are limited to 8 couples to ensure depth and care.

Price is per couple or pair, no singles for this workshop.

7-9.30pm, Saturday February 14 at Commune Yoga and Pilates, Balnarring

$180 per couple.
