This week I got to introduce my good friend Clare from Unwind Myotherapy to my favourite lunch at Bark n' Beans as we celebrated her moving her practice to Mooroolbark and our offices now being walking distance apart!!

Hi there!

I wanted to touch base to let you know that Unwind Myotherapy will be reopening in January. I broke my ankle during lockdown, and my recovery is going well. I am looking forward to getting back to work in 2022 after so many false starts this year.

If you would like any advice or a referral to another practitioner in the meantime, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

We’re back!

Following the advice of Australian Goverment and the Myotherapy Association of Australia, we are offering 30 minute face to face Myotherapy consultations again from this Thursday 30/4.

We will continue to offer telehealth appointments for anyone who meets the government requirements to isolate, who is feeling unwell, or who would prefer to stay home.

🌈Telehealth Appointments are here!🌈

You may have seen our decision last week to temporarily cease face-to-face appointments. We are happy to say that we are now up and running for Telehealth appointments.

During these appointments we can:

🌈Perform assessment
🌈Provide advice and home treatment tips
🌈Prescribe stretches and corrective exercises
🌈Provide you with a personalised home exercise routine to keep you feeling as good as possible both physically and mentally during this time.

How does it work?

You can book online through our website, or by calling the clinic number on 9859 8811.

Then, all you need to do is download the free Physiapp to your smart phone. The video call is made through the app. After the call, you can view your exercise program in the app. This includes video demonstrations and clear instructions. If you do not have a smartphone we can make a standard phone call, and then email you a PDF of your exercises.

We are quite excited about the new platform. Hands-on treatment is important, but all the latest evidence shows that it is the corrective exercises that make the biggest difference in the long term management and prevention of muscular issues. We are confident that we can help you in this way.

Private Health Insurance rebates are not yet available for this service, so we are offering Telehealth consultations at a discounted rate of $35.
