Krishna’s Otway Retreat is a holistic retreat centre that has been dedicated to serving the Victorian community since 2000. As we have grown, we have remained true to our philosophy of providing a natural, pure and nourishing space for groups to practice and learn. We enjoy providing a peaceful atmosphere for you to conduct your conference, seminar or retreat. We have become well known for our delicious vegan/vegetarian food, friendly service, and our unique location which provides easy access to both state forest and the Great Ocean Road. We are fortunate to host a number of groups each year practicing everything from yoga and meditation to drumming and massage. Providing everything you could want and need in a retreat centre, we warmly invite you to take advantage of all we have to offer!

Yesterday at Krishna’s Otway Retreat, devotees and guests gathered joyfully to celebrate the Festival of the Cows, a cherished annual tradition honouring Sri Krishna’s beloved cows and the sacred principles of cow protection.

The day was filled with devotion and gratitude as everyone participated in kirtan, offered garlands and special treats to the cows, and listened to uplifting talks on the spiritual and ecological importance of caring for these gentle beings.

Families and visitors shared heartfelt moments feeding the cows and witnessing their gentle affection. The festival concluded with a sumptuous vegetarian feast prepared with love, leaving everyone inspired by the beauty of simple living and high thinking — centred around compassion, gratitude and devotion.

This past weekend, Hare Krishna Valley was blessed to host a retreat with a group of wonderful ladies from our Russian devotee community. 💛

Surrounded by the peace of the Otway Ranges, we shared soulful kirtans, nourishing vegetarian food, deep reflections on bhakti, and moments of laughter and connection that reminded us of the true meaning of spiritual family.

It was heartwarming to witness the unity, humility and devotion of everyone who came — transforming the Valley into a sanctuary of joy and divine energy.

A heartfelt thank you to all who participated, served, and supported this uplifting gathering. 🙏

May the inspiration of this retreat continue to shine in our hearts and guide us closer to Krishna. 🌿
