Krishna’s Otway Retreat is a holistic retreat centre that has been dedicated to serving the Victorian community since 2000. As we have grown, we have remained true to our philosophy of providing a natural, pure and nourishing space for groups to practice and learn. We enjoy providing a peaceful atmosphere for you to conduct your conference, seminar or retreat. We have become well known for our delicious vegan/vegetarian food, friendly service, and our unique location which provides easy access to both state forest and the Great Ocean Road. We are fortunate to host a number of groups each year practicing everything from yoga and meditation to drumming and massage. Providing everything you could want and need in a retreat centre, we warmly invite you to take advantage of all we have to offer!

Meet Revati

After a couple of quiet Sundays, we return with Revati — Dauji’s twin sister.

Twins are rare amongst cows, and while her brother may be the larger of the two, Revati’s presence is unmistakable… especially with those beautifully large horns.

Reserved and observant, she keeps her distance from people unless trust — or treats — are involved. But within the herd she is confident and assertive, happily bossing the younger cows and keeping a close watch over everything happening at Hare Krishna Valley.

Though she’s unable to have calves of her own, Revati has quietly stepped into the role of aunty, always nearby when new calves arrive. Win her trust and you’ll be rewarded with brushes, cuddles, and her wonderfully scratchy licks — particularly if apples, bananas, pears or carrots are on offer.

Among the girls, Revati’s size is unmistakable.
But there’s another presence in that herd — broader, louder, and impossible to ignore.
