There’s a reason
much of the world fasts
during this season

Here in southern hemisphere
a magnetising pull to purge
ushers this great Autumnal change

Trust the turning colour of the leaves
and the flowers that bloom yellow
for they represent the pigments of the blood & liver
that are kindly whispering - “let go“

Inertia, preservation, tamas, earth, solid matter, the body, utterly rational, logical, scientific, manifested — kapha

Desire, transformation, rajas, fire, pitta, semi solid matter, the heart, in between worlds, romantic, still manifesting — pitta

Consciousness, expansion, sattva, ether, completely volatile, the mind, pure potentially, utterly irrational, the eternal unmanifest — vata

Remember the beauty of nature’s synergy
all parts perfectly necessary
everything and everyone
has its own season
there’s simply no room for coincidences
when everything designed on earth
has its own reason
