Bannockburn Bush parkrun

What a wonderful celebration of our 367th parkrun at Bannockburn Bush. It was full of great highlights. There were 16 first timers who came to enjoy our course, so a big welcome and well done to Jason, Isaac, Peter H, Tyler, Carmen, Pete J, Will, Grace, Jo, Wesley, Levi, Peter S, Bruce, Jade, Amy and Melissa. Then came the seven PBs. Congratulations to Jackson, Scott, Polly, Clancy, Rosalie, Nicole and Steph. As our 92 participants made their way through the course, they were brilliantly encouraged by our marshals with their motivating signs. There were some very competitive sprints for the finish line between some groups of runners. One unofficial but amazing milestone of 400 parkruns was achieved. Congratulations Victoria. We even had reports of some of our locals volunteering at a parkrun in Japan. We can't forget our amazing volunteers. Big thanks go to Julie, Tess, Melissa, Beck, Rod, Melanie, Bruce, Amanda and Kyelin. Yes, this has been another excellent parkrun here at Bannockburn Bush and we look forward to another next Saturday. See you then.

Ahh the memories! It was sooo long ago we had parkrun at Bannockurn Bush. (two weeks!). But fear not. All has returned to normal with the 17th January seeing us return for our First Timers' welcome at 7:50 and briefing at 7:55. At 8:00am we'll walk, run, shuffle and stroll followed by the opportunity to share, boast and/or have a coffee at the local cafe. It will be great to be back at our home. Visitors are very welcome. See you in the morning

Have you heard the news! We are back. No Total Fire Ban days predicted for this Saturday, so it's all go for parkrun at Bannockburn Bush. See you there!

Unfortunately, due to the Total Fire Ban day scheduled for tomorrow, 10th January, our parkrun has been canceled as per WREN guidelines.
This is a good opportunity to visit another parkrun venue, but PLEASE check their page prior to going in case they also have issues due to the Fire Ban.
