Have you checked your kids harness height recently? Remember Australian seats are different to overseas models so make sure you follow this information and not get confused

Good thing this is being disposed of!
15year old carseat that was still being used up until yesterday.
Did not expect to find a little critters hiding in it.

Remember I do carseat cleaning aswell :) but will advise if the seats has mould or is expired it should not be used

Don't forget most airlines allow a child restraint to be used onboard if you have a booked seat for your child. Check out their airline website for more details

Why should older kids remain in a booster?
Seatbelts are designed for adult MEN.
Without a booster the seatbelt can cause damage to a child's internal organs as they are not protected from the pelvic bone holding the seatbelt and the damage on a child's neck from the seatbelt not sitting on the shoulder.
If your child is between 8- 12yrs old and less than 145cm they should remain at a minimum in a booster seat.

And definitely no front seat use until at least age 15 unless no other option.

A reminder don't test movement from the head area only the belt/isofix path.

If it does have more than 2.5cm of movement book in for a check :)

Recently I've come across a few frayed harness webbing in particular on Britax seats due to the plastic cover being damaged causing a sharp edge and so the seats need to be SENT OFF for repair.
