Steph is amazing! 🙌🏼
Safely returning to exercise after having beautiful baby boy, Sebastian. 💙

Being 14 weeks postpartum and adjusting to becoming a new parent, Steph has found easing back into a healthy routine much more achievable having trained with us over the last x years and for some of her pregnancy.

Working on increasing and rebuilding strength from the inside out, Steph finds training is something to look forward to each week that she does for herself. 🥰

Tracking her food intake, with steady and consistent exercise is what get’s results and makes you feel fantastic.

This post is well over due but here it is, the 20kg mark!!
Layla has been coming to Venom PT consistently for 18 months and in that time has not only changed her appearance but also her lifestyle. She has now started a running program of 2 short runs and 1 long run on top of her 2-3 weight training sessions a week. Recently she hit the 5km mark without stopping!
What’s next for Layla:
⁃ Reverse diet back up to 2500 calories/day
⁃ Continue to increase running with the goal of running 10km
⁃ A new hypertrophy gym program
⁃ The last 10kg of weight loss

🏋️‍♂️Adherence is 🔑

After finishing his previous cut, we had a chat and he asked if he could extend the cut for 2 more weeks to see how lean he could get.
We planned a more aggressive cut, with a reverse diet waiting for him at the end.
He ended up loosing just over 3kg more. His adherence was 10/10 and he got the result he wanted.

Now we plan on doing the reverse diet for a few months, with a month or two at maintenance, then possibly another cut just in time for summer ☀️

🔬Tracking food!!! It has a bit of a negative stigma about it.
You hear people say;

“It will cause an eating disorder “

Well, no, everyone is different. Part of being a PT is that you do your research into your clients past and present to check for any negative relationships with food or red flags etc. We aren’t here to treat them but instead use this information in order to make the decision that tracking may not be for that individual.

“It didn’t work for me, it won’t work for you”

It might hurt your ego slightly but more than likely you were tracking wrong or not tracking absolutely everything in the day.
Learning to track food is like learning to drive a car. You go on your L-plate‘s to learn how to drive the car just as you would hire a PT to guide you and teach you how to track your food and overtime it will become more natural.

Tracking food is a tool in your tool belt and over time you will understand how to go through your day without it.

It’s not forever, but it’s there if you need it.

Starting calories were 1500/day and over a few months we finish at 2300/day, not to mention loosing 10kg in the process.

Layla is suffering a back injury and after referring her to to have a good look over her. We teamed up to create a safe program for Layla to get stronger and enjoy her body transformation.

Now the fun begins!

Congrats to 🔥

1 month cut & 6kg loss. How did he did it ⬇️⬇️⬇️

•Tracked his food (flexible diet)
• 100km/week on the bike
• 7km/week running
• steps per day 10000+
• 4 x strength sessions/week
• sleeping 8hrs a night

Now that’s done we will be doing a reverse diet followed by a maintenance faze before doing our next cut.

We have also planned out a new goal to complete a super sprint distance triathlon by the end of the year 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃

100kg Club !! 🔥🔥🔥
Well done smashed it with perfect form.
Nearly double her body weight and a 45kg personal best.

She consistently did 4-5 weeks of 3 sessions a week with approximately 15-20 working sets of hip thrusts /wk. Combined with progressive over load and a de-load week we got that result.
