Welcome everyone xx
I have suffered the horrid anxiety , depression and PTSD for over 20 years
I stopped going out
Couldn’t go into supermarket unless it was late and hardly anyone was in there
My social life turned to s**t
A month ago I decided enough, took the first step with a friend and ventured to the ABS smoke house in Renmark
It changed my life
I go every Saturday night and the more times I go the less my anxiety
Why the smokehouse?
Because it’s so bloody friendly
Beautiful meals
Amazing hosts and staff and music
I really want to assist people who are terrified to go out
Here’s my plan
I will meet you outside the smokehouse
I will sit with you
Yes, I be dancing but I will always check in on you and interact with you
I will always find a way for you to have a way out of the night if it too much
We can sit outside and wait until you are either ready to go home or come back in
The group would be so very supportive because WE know this horrid feeling
