More recently, qualified counsellor with over a decade's experience working with people. I believe we must be taken in our entirety - body, mind and soul - if we are to make a positive change in how we feel. I will share with you the knowledge I have soaked up from my studies and life experience to help you work towards the health goals you set out to achieve. I'm passionate about building one's strength - from the inside out - giving people the opportunity to live a life they are truly happy with! During my 10 years in the Health and Fitness Industry, I have specialised with two key demographics; Mum's and the over 55’s. I have developed a love and passion for these amazing people in our society. One group raising the next generation and the other, inspiring past generations with their knowledge and wisdom. Being a mother of 2 young boy's I understand the physical and emotional impact bearing and raising children has on us. I began my journey into motherhood at 38, having my second at 41, making me a 'geriatric' mother in the eyes of the medical world. However, no matter your age, you can keep your bodies and mind strong & healthy during and after pregnancy. It just takes a little TIME and love from YOU! And knowing the right way to nourish your body. Retirement can be a difficult time for people, it’s a dramatic change to your lifestyle. A new focus becomes essential and what better time than now to focus on YOU? With parents and clients in their 70's I have seen the impact that age has on the human body. But more so is the pressure of maintaining physical activity as we age along with the added mental and emotional health. Much enjoyment from life comes from still being able to do the activities we all love - tennis, yoga, skiing, traveling, gardening, to name a few. Modern research is showing just how important physical activity is as we age and through that we can delay the impact that aging has on our body.

Today I went for my first reiki session from my beautiful client and friend Belinda, from nabla_healing. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I've been feeling a bit low, so I really tried to allow myself to be open for anything! And I'm so glad I did. Tears flowed and I felt supported, understood and nurtured. Some people are born with this sixth sense, an intuition, an ability to see more than what we can on our own. That's Belinda! Our session finished with an (always) amazing massage!
