It was the 10th of June 2008 that we officially opened the practice, and since then we have grown to a team of 4 podiatrists, 2 receptionists and treated over 10,000 patients. Thank you to all our staff and our awesome patients. Bring on the next 14 years 👣

Locum/Maternity Leave Position available from March/April 2022.

Performance Podiatry Bateau Bay is looking for an enthusiastic podiatrist to join our very busy and friendly practice located on the Central Coast.

The successful applicant will commence work towards the middle of March 2022. Working 5 days per week with full day bookings, treating a wide variety of patients.

The position is available for up to 12 months, with the opportunity to become permanent.

Our practice is extremely modern with up to date equipment, technology and full reception support.

Hi everyone,

Performance Podiatry Bateau will stay open the next 2 weeks and is taking extra precautionary measures to keep our staff and patients healthy during the most recent COVID19 lockdown.

✅ All patients returning from overseas travel are asked to not enter the clinic for 14 days. Call the clinic and we can reschedule your appointment.

✅ Any staff returning from holidays are being put on leave for 14 days and are being sent for testing

✅ Information signs and hand sanitizers available at the clinic for patient use. The waiting room is spaced out to conform with the sqM rule.

✅ Face masks are mandatory and we have them available for patients if they don’t have
one.

Let’s all do the right thing so we can get back to normal as soon as possible.

Performance Podiatry Bateau bay are taking extra precautionary measures to keep our staff and patients healthy during COVID19.

We have implemented a few extra guidelines in alignment with WHO and government advice.

✅ All patients returning from overseas travel are asked to not enter the clinic for 14 days. Call the clinic and we can reschedule your appointment.

✅ Any staff returning from holidays are being put on leave for 14 days and are being sent for testing

✅ Information signs and hand sanitizers available at the clinic for patient use.

✅ Face masks are available for patients if they feel they need it.

✅ Staff are following all rules from WHO which include washing hands and sanitising during and between patients. (As per normal PPBB clinic rules)

✅ The clinic is and always has been cleaned on a regular basis (professionally). Reception staff will now also undertake extra sanitizing during the day throughout the clinic and reception area.

At this stage we have had no cases of staff or patients being tested. Let’s work together to keep it this way.

Podiatrists are very important in the management and treatment of people with diabetes! One of the first places to suffer from poor nerve sensation or reduced blood supply is commonly the feet!
Kane’s patient presented 8 days ago with this neuropathic pressure ulcer (wound as a result of reduced nerve sensation). With regular dressings, offloading and pressure deflective orthotics the wound healed fast!
Remember to always inspect the feet throughout the day to make sure there are no signs of damage or infection! 🦶🏻🧐

The transverse arch — which runs across your foot — may be responsible for more than 40 per cent of your foot's stiffness, which gives humans the ability to walk and run on two legs.

Little Xara and her sister Ada have been visitors to our clinic for many years and even though they now live in EAST TIMOR they still pop in annually to have their orthotics checked up and updated. See you guys again next year 😃
