🏃‍♂️🌏 Dr Debbie is off to Malaysia this weekend to cheer on her brothers as they take on the Penang Bridge Marathon! 🏅

Our clinic will be closed from Thursday 11th December and we’ll be back on Monday 14th December to get everyone tuned up and feeling their best before Christmas.

🧠 In our latest blog we’re demystifying what’s really going on with Sciatica:

• Sciatica is not a diagnosis by itself — it’s a symptom caused when the sciatic nerve gets compressed or irritated.
• Common causes include herniated discs, spinal canal narrowing (stenosis), or even the buttock muscle (piriformis) irritating the nerve.
• The pain usually affects one side and can show up as shooting pain, tingling, weakness or numbness — often worse when sitting, coughing or sneezing.
• The good news? We use spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy and targeted exercise to relieve pressure and restore function.
• And yes — while at-home strategies like gentle stretches, heat/ice and moving instead of sitting still help — accurate diagnosis is key. Leg pain doesn’t always mean sciatica.
