Sofia has diverse qualifications and professional backgrounds in nutrition, psychology and business. She is a mother and has lived in the Shire for 16 years. Sofia is a Paul Harris Fellow recipient, the founder of Batemans Bay Community Picnic, the President of the Philippine Cultural Society of Batemans Bay, a member of Rotary Club Batemans Bay and on the social committee of Batemans Bay Sailing Club. Sofia is dedicated to enriching the lives of our local people by driving social progress and community resilience.

Being in Arthur Boyd’s studio, surrounded by so much history and creativity, was an unforgettable experience. Feeling inspired and grateful! 🙏

What a fantastic turnout!
Our inaugural Batemans Bay Business Breakfast, organised by Rotary Batemans Bay, was a great success!

It's a privilege to be a part of this committee, focusing on both enhancing local business connections and fulfilling Rotary’s commitment to the community.

The Business Breakfast will now be held every first Wednesday of the month from 7–8am.

See you at the next one on Wednesday, 5th November at Se7en Café!

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Fire to Flourish Eurobodalla Showcase & Community Awards, which highlighted community projects driven by locals for the benefit of locals.

The 5-year program has been an incredible resource, providing vital support to hundreds of community projects, including two that I've had the privilege to be a part of- Batemans Bay Community Picnic & The Local Gatho

It was heartwarming to see the community come together to celebrate the program's conclusion and the positive impact it has had on locals
