Staying up to date with breast screens is our jam—don't skip it. 🥭🥭 🎵

If you're aged 50-74 years, screening every two years is the best way to find cancers when they're smaller and more easily treated.

Breast screening is most effective for women in this age range, but BreastScreen Queensland also provides free screenings for women in their 40s who have no noticeable changes in their breasts.

Screening is relatively painless and nothing to be afraid of. Most people have a normal result, with no cancer found. 💖

Starting this week, our hours have changed. If you need to see a GP face to face over the weekend in Bathurst, you can visit our After Hours GP Clinic –
• Saturdays – 1pm-5pm
• Sundays and most public holidays – 10am-2pm
For when it’s urgent but not an emergency, visit the After Hours GP Clinic located in the Heritage Building of the Bathurst Hospital.
