Today we celebrated International Day of People with a Disability! 💙✨

Our crew had an amazing day joining the Bathurst Regional Council Silent Disco, dancing up a storm and enjoying all the good vibes. We were also treated to a visit from Mr Whippy, which was a definite highlight, and finished the afternoon with free entry to the Manning Aquatic Centre for a refreshing swim.

At Thrive, we don’t need a special day to celebrate these wonderful people it’s what we do every day. But today was a beautiful reminder of the joy, inclusion and community spirit that makes our work so meaningful. 💛

🏑🔥 Today we hosted our very first Hockey Skills ‘n Drills Day and what a turnout over 50 participants from all across Bathurst joined in!

It was an awesome day of learning, teamwork and fun, with players rotating through stations to practice their skills. The energy, effort and smiles on everyone’s faces said it all.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and to the staff and volunteers who helped make it happen we can’t wait to do it again! 🏑💜🩵

☕ Today our participants had the chance to take part in a Barista course hosted by VERTO
Everyone had a fantastic time, picked up new skills, and really enjoyed the experience.

We’re so grateful for organisations like Verto who create opportunities that support and empower our participants. 💙
