The Dental Practice – Permanent Part-Time (32 hrs/week)

The Dental Practice is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our friendly, supportive team. This is a permanent part-time role, offering a great work–life balance and the opportunity to grow within a professional, patient-focused environment.

Permanent Part-Time – 32 hours per week on a rotating roster.
Rostered Hours:

Monday: 8:00am – 6:30pm

Tuesday: 7:45am – 5:30pm

Wednesday: 7:45am – 5:30pm

Thursday: 7:45am – 5:30pm

Friday: 7:45am – 3:00pm

Must be available on Saturdays

Key Responsibilities

Chairside assisting for all dental procedures

Sterilisation and infection control

Patient care and support

Managing appointments and recalls

Front desk reception duties

Processing payments and HICAPS

Maintaining a clean, organised clinical environment

About You

Previous dental assisting or reception experience essential

A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Excellent communication with a patient-first mindset

Reliable, organised, and willing to learn

Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Welcome to our New Dentist 🦷🙌

Dr Rebecca is a bright, bubbly, and gentle dentist who graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from Charles Sturt University in Orange.

Originally from Brisbane, she also holds qualifications as an Enrolled Nurse and has worked in rural and regional healthcare settings, bringing a well-rounded and compassionate perspective to patient care. Her background in nursing has strengthened her ability to communicate with empathy and build trust with patients of all ages.

Dr Rebecca is a proud mother of one, with another child on the way, and brings a strong family-focused approach to her work. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys yoga and values the calm and balance it brings to her busy life.
