Lakeview Private Hospital is designed and operated by 48 specialist doctors committed to delivering excellence in patient care. From the outset, our vision has been to build a hospital where the philosophy of Patients First is instilled from the ground up. LPH realises that vision in ways the corporate and public sectors cannot match. Impressively large operating theatres, state-of-the-art equipment, outstanding rehabilitation facilities and a comprehensive network of integrated services mean our health personnel are working in an environment where they can be at their very best. Compassionate and highly skilled care coupled with integrated facilities — such as on-site specialist consulting suites, radiology and pathology — make for an exceptional, convenient and seamless patient experience. The contemporary environment has been carefully designed to play a healing role for patients and their visitors. Quite simply, LPH marks an exciting new era in the delivery of health services for Sydney’s fast growing nor-west region. Facts at a glance

We’re all about the patients

From the moment patients arrive at our check in through to receiving out-patient services, it’s clear that every aspect of their journey has been designed with their comfort and well-being in mind. Talented specialist doctors, nurses and allied health professionals work with the very latest in technical equipment to deliver compassionate care of the highest quality. Our five star accommodation is set to impress with generously-sized light-filled rooms; many with stunning views across the tranquil lake and beyond. Outstanding catering prepared onsite makes the patients’ stay nothing short of exceptional. In-patient and day program rehabilitation, on-site social workers, and ongoing health and well-being programs are just some of the ways LPH provides patients with continuity of care. With so many integrated facilities — including radiology and pathology labs, and an on-site pharmacy — a trip to hospital has never been more simple or convenient. It all adds up to a deep commitment to the philosophy of Patients First.

Today is Hospitality Workers In Healthcare Day, today we recognise the people who keep hospitals running behind the scenes.

Our food service team plays a vital role in patient comfort and recovery. A warm, nourishing meal can help patients feel more at ease, supported and cared for during their time in hospital.

We’re grateful for the dedication and care our hospitality team brings to the hospital each day.

Thank you for the important work you do. 💙

Our Hospitality Manager, Janelle, recently competed in a gruelling 52km Ultra Marathon in Rotorua, New Zealand. This event is part of the UTMB World Series, and ordinarily offers a scenic yet challenging trail run through native forest. This year runners were faced with some extreme weather conditions with 95% humidity, torrential rain throughout the day (with the occasional sunshine) and a muddy, slippery track. Regardless of the conditions, she was able to power on through finishing in the top 30% of females, and top 27% in her age category! What an amazing achievement.
