Mind Management and Counselling

Mind Management and Counselling Adrian Spear offers help with anger, stress, anxiety and depression, with over 20 years’ experience in counselling coaching and matrix therapies.

Face to face and online sessions available for individuals and couples. Adrian has studied the mind's influence on the body, relationships, and life for 20 years. He has created programs to help clients improve calmness, resilience, relationships, performance, and happiness. Adrian has always been fascinated by the mind's workings and how it influences success or despair. He started attending 10-day Vipassana meditation retreats to explore further. Now, he meditates daily, studies human behaviour extensively, and attends a 10-day retreat annually. Adrian has a thirst for psychology, mindfulness, relaxation, meditation techniques, emotion control, neuroscience, quantum physics, and shamanistic healing. Adrian obtained his Diploma in Counselling (CHC51015). Noticing more clients with anger issues, he quickly helped them manage their stress. Adrian then specialized in anger and stress management. Adrian recognized society's struggles with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. He has adapted his business to help more people cope with these pressures. Individuals are accountable for their own thoughts and emotions. Anger, when experienced, is a personal response that should be recognized as such. By acknowledging one's own anger, effective strategies for managing it can then be explored. Remember it is bad to get mad.

It is difficult to gain complete control of your emotions in all situations. But by using Metacognition we are able to improve it. Metacognition is often described as “thinking about your thinking”. This means becoming aware of the thoughts you are having at a moment to moment basis.
Since your feelings stem from your thoughts then you can control your feeling too.

Anger in children is a normal emotion, not bad behavior. It often signals unmet needs, frustration, or big feelings they cannot yet explain.
