Eligibility for the 4th dose winter booster has been expanded.

Following the latest health advice from ATAGI, we’re expanding the eligibility for the fourth dose winter booster.

Beginning this Monday, 11 July, winter booster vaccinations will be recommended for anyone aged 50 and over.

They will also be available to those aged 30-49 to further maintain their immunity.

The winter booster dose can be given three months after the person has received their third dose, or three months after a confirmed COVID-19 infection, if the infection has occurred since the person’s third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Vaccinations are available at State-run vaccination clinics, as well as participating GPs and pharmacies. Bookings are preferred in all State-run vaccination clinics.

Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself and your loved ones from COVID-19. I encourage all Western Australians to get a fourth dose when they become eligible.
