Dr Traci Coventry and her team work with clients of all ages in the Beaconsfield Upper area of Victoria. With a special interest in working with young children and teens. What is Equine Psychological Therapy or Equine Assisted Therapy? Equine Psychological Therapy is relatively new to Australia despite the success of Equine Psychotherapy programs overseas. Equine Psychological Therapy has proven helpful in helping interested in personal growth and in treating a broad range of issues including:

Why use Equine Psychological Therapy? To reach a true capacity for connectedness with one self, other people and other beings — in particular horses— it is essential to develop an awareness of one’s emotions and intellectual and physiological experiences while in contact. The experiential nature of learning while doing takes what occurs in standard clinical sessions one step beyond. It allows for the development and exploration of the awareness that underlies true connection and authenticity.

Our Artful Minds & Gentle Hooves Holiday Program offers a blend of horses and art in a supportive, hands-on environment designed for young people aged 8–18 years 🐴🎨.

The program will run on Wednesday the 21st of January, from 10:00am to 3:00pm each day. The total cost for both days is $ 250, with NDIS funding accepted and Medicare rebates available.

We ask that clients bring their own lunches on both days and we will supply snacks throughout the day.

Bookings are now open for 2026 Term 1 Team Project Pony groups! 🐴

Group fees for the term are $160 per session ($800 for a 5 session term). Medicare rebates are available and NDIS will cover the full cost.
