‼️ UPDATED CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY ‼️We understand that life can get busy, so we have a cancellation policy in place to accommodate that. Our specialist practitioners have a waitlist for their services, and we kindly ask for as much notice as possible to offer an opportunity to another client.

- Classes: If you cancel within 6 hours of the class start time or do not show up, you will be charged the full fee or lose a class from your pass.

Late cancellation payments can be made during your next studio visit or through the details provided in the emailed invoice.

There is a lot of information on the internet about “safe” and “unsafe” prolapse exercises, saying things like “never lift more than 4kg” or “avoid running and jumping”, but the reality is, you CAN do of these things with the correct guidance and support! 🌸

Although we can’t go from doing nothing to running and expect everything to be okay… many women who experience prolapse manage return to weightlifting or to playing sport over time with the correct training.

The key is understanding your body and learning how to modify and perform exercises in a way that is best suited to you. 🔑

✨ Focus on what you CAN do, not what you can't. Take a gentle approach, begin slowly, gradually increase intensity over time, and remember to ALWAYS listen to your body. 💓

Having a strong and functional pelvic floor involves a lot more than just kegels! 🏋🏻‍♀️🌸

1. Wherever the diaphragm goes, the pelvic floor follows! As we inhale, our diaphragm and pelvic floor descend together, and as we exhale, they rise lift up together. Mastering proper breathing techniques and diaphragm engagement is crucial for optimal pelvic floor function.

2. Relaxing and lengthening our pelvic floor is just as important as contracting! Being able to do this allows the muscle to work efficiently. Try different positions when doing your pelvic floor exercises and see what best suits you (seated, standing, four point, child’s pose etc)

🫐 INHALE: Visualise gently drawing a blueberry up through a straw from your va**na.
EXHALE: Let it softly descend as you relax.

🛗 INHALE: Imagine your pelvis as an elevator, close the doors (va**na and a**s), and lift it upwards.
EXHALE: Slowly descend the elevator back to ground level.

3. Treat your pelvic floor like any other muscle in your body. It requires strength, endurance, coordination, and functional exercises to thrive!

4. The pelvic floor is influenced by many things, such as posture and hip strength. It’s important to consider all aspects when training your pelvic floor to ensure it functions optimally!

It’s never too early to start learning about the science of exercise! We are so excited to be a part of the Kindy Uplift program with C&K Canungra. Teaching them all about Kids Pilates. It’s a great way to introduce children to the fundamentals of body movement and posture, and help them build a strong foundation for lifelong fitness.
