Hydration 💧
* Your spinal discs are filled with water and work as water barriers between your vertebrae (shock absorption). This prevents your bones having repeated contact & reduces backpain.
* Hydrating your muscles supports the prevention of spasms and fatigue (with these they can strain the spine).
Movement 🏃♀️
* Your spinal discs do not have a direct blood supply and so regular movement acts as a nutrient source that keeps discs hydrated, reduces stiffness, and prevents degeneration.
Mobility Exercises 🧘♂️
* As mentioned above, movement increases your spines blood flow, which in turn circulates synovial fluid (lubricates your joints, provides nutrients to cartilage, cushions bones and acts as a filter).
