We are so excited for a big year filled with a variety of events across all of our beautiful Flinders campuses. Wherever you may be located, we encourage you to get involved! We work best by collaborating across all disciplines of Medicine, Nursing & Allied Health, all are welcome! 🩺🔬🧫🧪🧬

Budj Bim Cultural Landscape Tour 💚🩵

Guided by a proud Gunditjmara man, the group walked through a landscape that tells a living story stretching back thousands of years. Observing the ancient eel traps and stone channels up close revealed the remarkable ingenuity of the Gunditjmara people, who transformed a volcanic terrain into one of the world’s oldest sustainable aquaculture systems. This tour helped to connect culture, country, and community.

A special highlight was the time spent at the Tae Rak Aquaculture Centre Café — sharing stories and tasting smoked eel. The day left a deeper appreciation for the land that the group live and study on.
