Join us for a celebration of connection, growth and rural resilience! Hear from a panel of local clinicians from various healthcare fields, as they share their experiences in their first year of practice in rural healthcare. This will highlight the raw and honest journey from university to healthcare practice. Engage in meaningful Q&As and enjoy an evening of food and networking on the Terrace.

Budj Bim Cultural Landscape Tour 💚🩵

Guided by a proud Gunditjmara man, the group walked through a landscape that tells a living story stretching back thousands of years. Observing the ancient eel traps and stone channels up close revealed the remarkable ingenuity of the Gunditjmara people, who transformed a volcanic terrain into one of the world’s oldest sustainable aquaculture systems. This tour helped to connect culture, country, and community.

A special highlight was the time spent at the Tae Rak Aquaculture Centre Café — sharing stories and tasting smoked eel. The day left a deeper appreciation for the land that the group live and study on.

Join us for a weekend of hands-on learning and fun adventures in the Riverland! Experience clinical skills training, a behind the scenes tour of Renmark Hospital, and learn from rural doctors. Transport, food, and activities are all sorted, and it’s FREE! 🏕️🩺
