I had the privilege today of leading a beautiful group of women in a yoga class to start their day. We practiced outside, with sulpher crested cockatoos watching on, in the shade of beautiful trees.
Their Savasana was supported by an ethereal melody played on recorder by the talented Hugo Davey (who happens to be my son๐Ÿ’š)
I have often dreamed of combining yoga with the dreamy sound of recorder, so today was a special day.

Take some time to leave behind the busyness of life and immerse yourself in yoga, pranayama, meditation and delicious home cooked meals to sustain and nourish.

Experience the profound benefits of switching off for a whole weekend, slowing down and allowing space to recharge and reset.

We will be starting on Friday evening with a restorative class followed by a group welcome and dinner to lead you into a sweet and restful sleep.

Over the course of the weekend there will be morning meditation, pranayama and asana classes (restorative focus in the afternoon) plus time to simply rest - however that looks for you. There are beautiful bush walks to enjoy on the property, waterfalls and other sights to take in a little further afield or simply curl up in a comfy chair in the library or on the sundrenched deck, read a book, sip some tea and relax.

Building capacity to stay with quiet attention is a powerful skill to bring into more active practices, which we will be working with next week - standing poses!

Maintaining calm awareness, even when things get busy or difficult, is a valuable life skill which has incredible benefits for your own health and well-being and ripples out to benefit those around you also.

We left the room with blanket order restored and calm minds.
