Our recent “Run the Night” event, co-hosted with Hannah’s Run Club Beecroft, was officially recognised in Parliament by our local MP Monica Tudehope 🏃‍♀️👏

What started as a simple idea — women moving together under the stars, celebrating health and community — turned into something truly special.
A big thank you to everyone who came along, glowed up, and ran with us! 💫

🌸 Women’s Health Week 2025 - Part II 🌸

🌏✨ This week we teamed up with Mission Australia to chat with a wonderful group of CALD women in Hornsby.
We covered menopause, movement, and nutrition — lots of great questions, laughter, and connection despite language and cultural differences. 💬🤝
So grateful for the chance to share knowledge and support each other’s health journeys. 💜

🌸 Women’s Health Week 2025 🌸

What a morning! Around 20 mums (and their little ones) joined us for yoga with Melisha, followed by Q&As and talks from Dr Hamshi Singh, Dr Ruhie Vaidya, Victoria Lee (dietitian), and Mai-Anh Burke (physio). From lifestyle medicine to postpartum care, feeding little ones to baby movement milestones — we covered it all!

Big thanks to everyone who came along, shared stories, and left with a smile (and a goodie bag ✨). Community, connection, and women’s health at its best. 💜

Meet Dr Ruhie Vaidya, one of our dedicated GPs here at Her GP! Ruhie has many years of experience in caring for mums and kids of all ages, with extra training in women’s health, child health, and sexual and reproductive medicine. As a mum of three young kids herself, she understands the ups and downs of motherhood and brings both professional expertise and real-life perspective to her care.

She is especially passionate about supporting mothers through pregnancy, the postnatal period, the early years of raising little ones, and beyond.

In honour of Women’s Health Week, Dr Ruhie will be giving a short talk on some of the often-overlooked aspects of postpartum and children’s health, and is looking forward to meeting local mums and bubs for this special event!

Victoria Lee is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a strong focus on women’s health, including conditions such as PCOS, insulin resistance, and digestive health.

She is passionate about supporting women to prioritise their wellbeing, offering practical nutrition strategies that fit into busy lives. Victoria is dedicated to supporting mums and their little ones through the ups and downs of feeding, from navigating common challenges to building healthy habits that last a lifetime. With a practical and compassionate approach, Victoria helps families feel confident in nourishing both themselves and their children.

Victoria empowers women to make sustainable changes that improve both their health and confidence. As a mum, she brings empathy and understanding to her work, making her a trusted and relatable voice in women’s health nutrition.

She is excited to meet the Mums & Bubs at the event, share practical advice and have meaningful conversations about women’s health and wellbeing!

Meet Mai-Anh: Our Child Development Physio

Mai-Anh is passionate about helping babies and young children reach their movement milestones with confidence.

With a unique background as a muscle biologist and paediatric physiotherapist, she brings both science and care into her work. Mai-Anh uses standardised tools and playful, child-friendly activities to:

✅ Support your baby’s motor development
✅ Run baby movement classes
✅ Provide practical physio advice for parents

Whether you’re curious about your child’s milestones or want expert guidance, come along and meet Mai-Anh — our resident child development physio (and budding pickleball enthusiast 🏓🌿)!

Melisha is our resident Kids Hearing expert and yoga teacher!

She’s been practicing for over 17 years and formally obtained her Ashtanga teacher training in 2020 during COVID-19 (while most of us were making sourdough bread, Melisha was living in Singapore 🇸🇬 and chose yoga training). Outside of yoga, she’s a mum to two girls, you can catch her at Her GP on Fridays and Sundays for all things hearing related for your kids.

She’ll lead our women’s health 45 min yoga session on Monday 1st September 2025 starting at 9:30am. She enjoys working up to a “hero” pose as part of her practice and will be leading a session suitable for all!

Come along for some laughs, relaxation, and a whole lot of positive energy!
