I do this by listening and recording every piece of information both you and I deem relevant, completing a host of exploratory exercises, and then creating your individualised exercise & session plan & prescription. This will be tailored to your goals, capacity, health, sport, condition and/or pain levels, to sustainably improve your health, strength, fitness, mobility and/or pain, whilst reducing the likelihood of injuries and flare ups. This also includes a plan for outside our sessions/at home. I will also create your own, unique Goals & Tips sheet, provide check in’s, updates, education, monitoring and even questionnaires where necessary. My favourite person of all time. Here's to Roger Federer & the Greatest, most Impactful sporting career of all time 💚
From watching every single one of your Grand Slam wins since a young child, to catching one of your (very few) shanked backhands in person, to watching you win your 1,000th match live in Brisbane, it has truly been an honour to watch your career unfold, your game improve and most importantly, to watch you grow and evolve as a human being.
You’re one of the few people on this planet that I truly look up to, and whether you’ll ever know it or not, your impact on my life has been significant.
From my career, to my pursuits, my enjoyment of sport and physical activity; even the way I treat others! I wish you and your family nothing but the best going forward, and I know you’ll continue to make as big an impact off the court as you did on it. Enjoy your retirement from Singles Tennis. You truly do deserve it 😊💚

Hi everyone, as this is a new page I thought I’d tell you all a little bit about my story & pain journey, and what I WAS like compared to how I am now.

From what I used to do, the onset and progression of pain, diagnosis, struggles in finding quality help, isolation, the physical and mental struggles, finding great help, my journey to recovery, finding what worked for me, medications, return to study and placements, becoming qualified, returning to work, starting my own business and my reasoning behind starting my business.
It’s all in this video.

I’ve just finished posting these reels separately on so I edited them together into one video for Facebook, LinkedIn & Google.

If you ever need someone to talk or vent to, I’m always here 💚

If you’ve listened to any of this video, I really do appreciate it, and if you think this may benefit someone, feel free to share it with them.
Or even better, use this as an opportunity to reach out to a friend in a tough situation and just see how they’re doing. Don’t offer solutions, just be there for them.

Thank you again for watching.

Ligaments VS Tendons

Ligaments = Bone to Bone Tendons = Muscle to Bone

There are approximately 900 Ligaments & 4000 tendons found throughout the human body!

Ligaments and tendons are both made up of fibrous connective tissue, but are actually quite different.

Ligaments appear as crisscross bands that attach bone to bone and help stabilise joints.

For example, the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) attaches the femur (thighbone) to the tibia (shinbone), helping to stabilise the knee joint.

Tendons, located at each end of a muscle, attach muscle to bone.

The Calcaneal (Achilles) tendon for example, is the largest tendon within the body. It attaches the calf muscle to the calcaneus (heel bone).

You can think of ligaments as rope, with a series of tough, intertwined cords that bind bones. Ligaments also have some elastic fibres that allow the joint to move, but not so much that it moves beyond its capacity. (Some health conditions can alter this process)

The knee joint, for instance, has four major ligaments, one on each side of the knee and two that run diagonally across the front and back of the kneecap. These ligaments help stabilise the knee and keep it from moving too far to the left or right, forward or backward.

Tendons are also tough cords, but they have a little more give than ligaments. As a muscle contracts, the attached tendon pulls the bone into movement. Think of what happens to your bicep when you bend your elbow. Tendons also help absorb some of the impact muscles take as they spring into action. (Again, some health conditions can alter this process)

Mobility VS Flexibility -

While these words are often used interchangeably, they’re actually two different things.
Flexibility is defined as ‘the ability of a muscle or muscle groups to lengthen PASSIVELY through a range of motion’, whereas mobility is the ‘ability of a joint to move ACTIVELY through a range of motion.

🦵🦵 EXAMPLE - A static hamstring stretch could test your hamstring Flexibility, whereas a standing leg swing through could test your hamstring Mobility.
