Today we recognise and support those living with Parkinson’s, as well as their families and carers. Raising awareness and supporting research brings us closer to better treatments.

Organisations like the Parkinson’s Australia (https://www.parkinsons.org.au/) continue to do incredible work supporting the Parkinson’s community across Australia.

At IHS, we also offer supportive therapies that may help manage symptoms. Junji Takarabe, Acupuncturist, provides a free 10-minute discovery session for new patients. Some evidence suggests acupuncture may assist with symptoms such as tremor, stiffness, pain, and mobility challenges.

Last week, our team stepped out of the clinic and onto the green for a fun afternoon of lawn bowls together. It was a great opportunity to unwind, enjoy some sunshine, and share a few laughs as a team before the cooler months set in.

Spending time together outside of the clinic is something we truly value, it helps us stay connected and bring that same positive energy back into the care we provide our patients. 💚
